Introducing: The Swan at Marbury Walking Passport! 

We believe The Swan is the perfect starting point for a great day out in the Cheshire countryside. That’s why we’ve completely refreshed our favourite local walking routes, designing every single route to start and end right here at the pub.

To celebrate, we are launching The Swan at Marbury Walking Passport! It’s our way of building a community of local explorers, getting you outdoors, and rewarding you for your miles.

How It Works:
  1. Grab Your Passport: Next time you’re in, ask our team at the bar for your physical Walking Passport before you head out.
  2. The Routes: Complete any of our official digital or physical walking routes (make sure to download the OS Maps app above to track your path live!).
  3. Show Your Proof: When you get back to the pub, show our team proof of your walk. This can be your route tracked on an app like Strava / OS Maps, or a photo of yourself at one of the landmarks along the way.
  4. Collect Your Reward: Once verified, we’ll stamp your passport!
The Rewards

The more you explore, the more you earn! Rewards must be claimed in order:

  • Stamps 1, 2, & 3: A complimentary House Drink to quench your thirst after the trail.
  • Stamp 4: 10% off your food bill to celebrate completing the passport.

Terms and conditions

  • Eligibility: Passports are individual; no group-sharing. One stamp per person, per visit, per day.
  • Route Verification: To get a stamp, you must show proof of completing an official route via a tracking app (e.g., Strava/OS Maps) or a photo at a designated landmark.
  • The Rewards: Stamps 1–3: A complimentary House Drink. Choices include: 175ml house wine, a pint of selected beer, cider, house spirit and mixer, any hot or soft drink. Stamp 4: 10% off your food bill.
  • Group Bills: The 10% discount is limited to one per bill and applies only to the passport holder’s individual food. For group tables, the holder's items will be split onto a separate sub-bill. It will not discount the whole group.
  • Exclusions: Rewards are subject to availability. The 10% discount cannot be combined with other offers. Management reserves the right to withdraw the offer at any time.
  • Social Media: By using #THESWANRAMBLERS, you allow us to feature your photos on our social channels.
